Son of a bitch. Seriously, can we ever have a completely positive off-season around here? It’s not like I was counting on Ricky being the Ricky of a few years ago but it sucks that he’s gone for the year. And yes, we all know he tested for something positive that wasn’t marijuana but from his quote: “I'm disappointed with the decision but I respect it. I'm proud of my association with the National Football League and look forward to returning to the Dolphins in 2007,” makes it sound like he knew he took the substance and just didn’t know it was banned. If someone would just say what the f’ it was we can all go “Come On!” and get over it. If it is a drug, a real drug, than I agree he should be gone.
Does this change the draft for us? No, we have friggin’ Ronnie Brown who will have a “real” fullback in Beasley. It ain’t over for 2006 yet. This is just a bump in the road. At least we know now.

Sounds like a letter of reference to me.
