If you haven’t heard about the unaired WB pilot “Nobody’s Watching” you’re living far away from TV coverage on the web. Basically Bill Lawerence, the writer behind “Spin City” and “Scrubs,” teams with Garrett Donovan and Neil Goldman of the “Family Guy” and come up with a sitcom that satires reality TV and the horrible state of the sitcom. And it’s perfect for NBC.
We’re posting all three segments below and it’ll take 30 minutes to watch all three. Our thoughts? NBC should pick this up. The off-base premise would be a better match to “30 Rock” than “20 Good Years” that’s for sure and it has that remarkable “Scrubs” charm. However, NBC already passed this up according to an excellent story in the NY Times. Ouch. Looking good Mr. Reilly. At least NBC retains first rights to it…Oh man time for a petition!!!
As far as the actor’s: watching Paul Adelstein outside of his evil personae from “Prison Break” is terrific. His character is named Jeff Tucker and yes The Zuckster gave his blessing to Lawerence to use it. Plus Paul Campbell was a favorite from “Battlestar Galactica” and he shows off he’s the perfect comedy guy. Otherwise the rest of the cast is above average.
So enjoy the videos, tell us what you think. Would you watch this Wednesday’s at 8 a.m.? Or as a partner to "Scrubs?" Sign the comments below.

As I said over on YouTube, I would LOVE to see this show paired with Scrubs. Talk about a dream hour of comedy!!!
Terrific show, would love to see more!!!

The newest thing in TV: put it on the internet. Maybe this show doesn't need to be on television but NBC could produce it as a web-only show. It would get advertiser support. In any case, TV or WebV, I want to see more!!!!!!!!

It's a great show, indeed... Or at least a very good pilot...
But when I watched this I had the really bad feeling about being a show only for "us"...You know what I mean. "Us", the tv "geeks".
As I "blogged" about it, I think this is a great show for all "industry people" and "hardcore tv fans"... But think about the mass audiendience... This show would be clearly overlooked.
If the network goes for it, we´ll have the next "arrested"...

I Really loved this.
Since there has been a lot of bad shows without a plot. This Show could easily outtake many of them.
So Nbc, Pick it up. Please

I think they should do this with all the unaried pilots. Let the viewers decide which shows are worthy. Why pay some guy a seven figure salary to make decisions that are wrong 80% of the time.

The most original show in a long time. The WB is stupid that is why they trashed it for TWINS. NBC your Smart!YOU got scrubs! Don't make the same mistake. This will have a fan. I know so.

That would go brilliantly alongside Scrubs.
I loved how it had Scrubs' feelgood air to it and also the fact it was a premise that hadn't been done before.
If this show ever gets aired I'd get all my friends watching too which I'm sure is just what the producers would like to hear :)

Decent show. Nowhere near as good as Scrubs. Probably better than Teachers.

I've only watched the first clip and I'm already impressed. It has a nice mix of "we won't patronize our audience" and "something new" with the obligatory "sitcom quips" that everyone loves (even if it is deep down inside). I don't know if it will make it to prime time but good job guys.

This Show kicks ass

ummm...I didn't care for this at all. In fact, I was ready to change the channel after the first two minutes, but I kept watching just because everyone in the comments section was raving. Sorry, but I can see how this one got passed on. Totally forgettable, and shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as the wonderful Scrubs.

UGH. Why does anyone think this is funny? Because it was on youtube? Nothing has sucked more than NBC in recent years, but this is exactly the type of show they should NOT be putting on -- self-referential, unfunny dork humor. We've seen it all a million times.
