Fighting The Suburbs

Fatblogging: 191

Ok, here's how it went down. Last Thursday I hit 189. That was the first time I was under 190 in years. A weekend at the Gage and drinking ruined me though. I'm back on a strict diet now. Back to Lean Cuisine's etc.

Fatblogging: 190.2

Sorry the blog has been so empty lately. I was in New York City for the New York Auto Show last week and blogging that took over. I was pretty good eating wise while away and since I’ve been back despite the holidays. This morning I got very close to the sub 190 region. Wow. I honestly don’t remember the last time I was under 190.

I’ve been eating pretty well with cereal or low cal breakfast, lean cuisine or salad for lunch and healthy dinners. I think the big problem is I am losing some muscle in my arms. I need to get to a gym and have been slacking. All this weight loss is strict diet and that can’t be the only way to go. If I’ve gotten the food under control I think exercise has to be next.

Fatblogging: 192.8

I've been hesitating on another fatblog post because I've been hovering in the high 194 range for almost a week. This morning all the strict eating habits pay off with a 192.8 (before going to 192.2 and bouncing back up). This morning I'm in a very good mood. Plus, I got a full nights sleep. I'm still not doing major exercising, everything is strict dieting with either Lean Cuisine for lunch or a salad in the office building. Occasionally I'll splurge on a Jimmy John sub. We're also cooking pretty lean at home. Although we recently discovered just how bad filet mignon was for you. Too bad, the Costco filet is amazing.

Fatblogging: 195.5

OK, it's been a while since blogged about the weight loss. Mainly because I've been static for most of the past two weeks. Courtney was out of town so I had some "bad" food but with her back we've been back on our healthy cooking with one night out at a nice restaurant complete with dessert. Finally I got on the scale today and saw some progress.

We found a new Weight Watchers dessert that's like a Nestle's Crunch ice cream bar. Otherwise we've been eating fruit with fat free Cool Whip. Getting your sweet tooth satisfied is a must.

Fatblogging: 197.8

OK, I didn’t lose 1.2 pounds in a day. I think yesterday’s weight was leftover from a “bad” weekend of food and inactivity, compared to a normal day of both yesterday. Dinner was very light with a salad, single pork chop, brown rice and spinach. Very plain but hey it was a Tuesday night at home. Lunch today was a Tuna salad sandwich Courtney made. Light as can be tuna salad with very little fat free mayo, sprouts, cukes and of course ultra-whole grain bread with lots of fiber. Good stuff. Tonight will be fish tacos. And it’s a walk home from the L night for me.
