In the July issue of Chicago Magazine I have a story on the three men behind Raceline Motorworks. The company basically wants to give boys a store of their own just like American Girl has done for young ladies.
To me the interesting part of the story is that you can’t just open up a little mom and pop store anymore. These three guys came from financial and corporate backgrounds with significant investment money to put into this business and it’s planned as a potential franchise. Plus they’re all in their 30s! Makes me feel like a slouch. But hey I have a blog empire, right?
